Hold Fast Money Maker
When Hold Fast needed a creative way to display their handmade Money Maker camera harness at a retail level, I was part of the Wenzel Creative team that provided the answers. Moving from online sales to a brick-and-mortar presence demanded a solution that allowed the consumer to touch and feel the quality of the leather and craftsmanship of this unique system for photography professionals and enthusiasts.
Throughout the research and prototyping process, no details were spared. The design had to meet the same stringent standards the harnesses were expected to deliver on. The presentation was a visual extension of the brand – requiring function with a design that was a mix of contemporary luxury, usability, and practicality.
A variety of shapes and substrates were tested for display presentation, durability, quality, printing, manufacturing and cost. The handmade nature of the product meant low volumes, our solution would also need to be printed and finished digitally. A lot to ask of a design.
